ÉOLE ÉVANGILE: A “GREEN” SITE IN PARIS’S 19TH DISTRICT

The Éole Évangile worksite is part of the “Réinventer.Paris” programme launched by Paris City Hall to pinpoint innovative urban projects to transform this city under a city into its “best self”.

This is the backdrop against which Sefi-Intrafor is working, as a sub-contractor to Bouygues Construction, drilling 450 grouting boreholes (depth: between 48 and 53m, total drilling: 22 linear km, grouting volume: 5,500m3). The goal? Stabilising ground affected by dissolution of Anteludian gypsum.

Except for the frequent simultaneous presence of several other companies, including Franki Fondation, on the site and difficulties due to low-permeability, high-adhesion soil, this project has gone smoothly. Why? Staff commitment and excellent on-site understanding.

Work on this site (on which up to 15 employees are involved at any one time) began on 1 August and will end in late December, hitting all the milestones set by Bouygues.

Client: Link City
Prime contractor (construction): Agence TVK
Prime contractor (grouting): Roc Sol
Consortium members: General contractor Bouygues Construction
