Issy Cœur de Seine wants to bring the heart of the city of Issy les Moulineaux to life, helping future residents to stay connected to transport infrastructure (underground, bus, road, high-speed regional trains, and footpaths), stores and recreational facilities, the natural world and everyday life (from nursery to higher education).
So it is on this urban worksite, with space limited, that Sefi-Intrafor and Franki Fondation are set to start work on the foundations of this large-scale project.
Franki Fondation’s role is to set up 700 hollow auger cast piles (depth: up to 35m, diameter: from 420 to 1,220mm) across 3 office buildings and 3 residential buildings plus micropiles at the base of the groundwork. The main issue facing Franki Fondation is absorbing the forces from the nearby line 15 works.
Sefi-Intrafor will be tasked with building the diaphragm walls (depth: up to 42m) using a cable-operated excavator and tie beams, plus laying struts for the largest building on the project, home to the future cinema and 5 basement levels.
The works are set to end in March 2020.
On this project, Franki Fondation is sub-contracted by Bouygues HAR and Bouygues CPI (carcassing), and Sefi-Intrafor is both directly contracted to Cogedim and head of the consortium featuring: Pro-fond, Franki Fondation, and SMTP.
