Sefi-Intrafor got to work right down by Stade Pierre Mauroy (Villeneuve d'Ascq-Lezennes, Nord) on a land development project in Boulevard de Tournai, creating a tertiary business park and a new 24,000m2 Leroy Merlin store for client Leroy Merlin/Aventim.
The works carried out on an approx. 99,000m² plot, as part of a consortium with Renard TP (head), involved filling old underground limestone quarries, and included major earthworks, backfilling, compaction, and fine sand-cement mortar filling around the edges.
This impressively high-volume project also featured outstanding outputs and rates: the teams injected more than 17,000m3 of grout over 2 months of production.
These exceptional performances were made possible by using the new continuous, high-volume grout production and mixing plant developed by SAE / AES / SAML and Sefi-Intrafor.
As a result, the Sefi-Intrafor team of over 10 employees finished the final drilling they had not been able to fit in when work started on the site last May in November, meeting the deadlines.
